From Commitment to Action: Strengthening Workplace Responses to GBVH

Creating workplaces that are safe, inclusive and free from Gender-Based Violence and Harassment requires organisations to move beyond policy and embed prevention into leadership, culture and everyday practice.

In response to this need, the Private Sector Coalition (PSC) was established to unite organisations committed to strengthening workplace responses to GBVH. Since its launch, the Coalition has grown beyond its initial mobilisation target, with 33 organisations now forming its Founding Cohort – a powerful demonstration of private sector leadership and collective commitment.

As we celebrate Women’s Month, Shared Value Africa’s Gender Equality Unit invites business leaders, Coalition members and workplace practitioners to a special Women’s Month Leadership Dialogue focused on advancing the next phase of this important work.

This dialogue brings together CEOs and executive leaders, human resources executives, ESG, sustainability and DEI professionals, legal and compliance practitioners, employee relations and workplace wellness leaders, Founding Members of the Private Sector Coalition and organisations committed to advancing workplace gender equality and preventing GBVH.
