The Shared Value Africa (SVA) 2025 Impact Report highlights the organisation’s role as a strategic systems builder, reinforcing the principle that Africa’s economic success and societal progress are interdependent. Over the past eight years, SVA has supported up to 2,500 entrepreneurs and engaged over 4,000 senior leaders to shift from extractive practices toward long-term value creation.
Through its six strategic pillars—including entrepreneurship ecosystems, gender equality reform, and evidence-led thought leadership—SVA has provided the infrastructure for businesses to align profitability with societal dignity. With successful expansion into Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Malawi, the organisation is now transitioning from building presence to driving systemic change, ensuring that Africa’s future is shaped by disciplined, accountable leadership that creates value for people and markets alike.
Shared Value Africa’s 2024 Impact Report reveals a year of resilience and notable achievements under challenging global circumstances. Despite facing postponed initiatives due to global unrest and limited funding, SVA celebrated its 6th anniversary, and expanded its reach across Africa, including launching Shared Value Nigeria. Key achievements included significant contributions to youth empowerment, gender equality, and the strengthening of healthcare and entrepreneurial skills through strategic partnerships and innovative platforms like JamiiTrade and the Africa Entrepreneurship Forums. The report underscores the organisation’s relentless pursuit of fostering a sustainable future through Shared Value, highlighting the critical role of collaboration and resilient leadership in navigating the complexities of today’s economic and social landscapes.
The 2023 SVA Impact Report outlines the Shared Value Africa Initiative’s efforts in promoting sustainable development across Africa, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. It covers strategic approaches in areas such as entrepreneurship, leadership development, capacity building, and regional collaborations. The report highlights the challenges overcome, innovative strategies adopted, and the significant impact of these initiatives on empowering communities, fostering economic growth, and environmental stewardship, aiming for a sustainable and prosperous future for the continent.
In our fifth operational year, we presented our Impact and Activities Report for 2022. It is our intention to create a better understanding of our work and our overall impact. As a member-based organisation, our impact is related to the impact created by our members and partners, and through our various engagement, advocacy and research platforms.
In our third operational year, we presented our Impact Report for the period May 2018 to May 2021.
EU African SME Summit 2025
Held at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange from 19–21 June 2025, the Summit united 318 participants from 27 countries across Africa and Europe under the theme: “Scaling Africa’s Sustainable Future through the AfCFTA and the EU’s Global Gateway.”
